Emilee & Mark had a beautiful, intimate Lynchburg wedding in August. They got married on a small dock on a lake which I thought was so special – the water provided a peaceful backdrop for the ceremony.

After the ceremony was over, I hung back with the couple so we could take some portraits before they drove off to the reception.

I’ve never been disappointed with the food served at a southern Virginia wedding. The barbecue smelled delicious!

My favorite photos from the whole day were from the couple’s first dance – they were so relaxed and happy together!

Another highlight was the incredible bluegrass band – the Jus’ Cauz Bluegrass Band that Mark is the lead guitarist/vocalist for! At the end of the day the mother of the bride told me, “These guys will play through the night if we let them!” It was so much fun to take photos of these guys doing what they loved.

I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of Emilee and Mark’s big day!
